The Golden Designs Kaskinen is a manufacturer-rated six-person Barn Series outdoor hybrid sauna with a Vanilla Crème all-weather exterior and natural Canadian Red Cedar interior. Users can select traditional electric-stove heat or full-spectrum infrared operation, making it a versatile outdoor wellness cabin for group sessions.
Two Sauna Experiences in One Outdoor Cabin
The Kaskinen brings hybrid flexibility to a spacious six-person Barn Series footprint. Its Vanilla Crème all-weather exterior encloses a natural Canadian Red Cedar interior, creating a warm and inviting outdoor wellness space. The peaked-roof cabin design adds architectural character to any backyard setting.
Traditional or Full-Spectrum Heat
Traditional mode uses an 8.0 kW electric stove with built-in controls. Its manufacturer-stated ideal range is 170–185°F, with heat up to 190°F. Full-spectrum mode combines seven PureTech™ Near Zero EMF carbon heating panels with eight near-infrared elements, totaling 15 infrared emitters. Its ideal range is 118–132°F, with heat up to 140°F. The two heating modes are selectable options — do not expect simultaneous operation.
Lighting, Audio, and Cabin Details
The Kaskinen features a clear tempered-glass door, ceiling galaxy-star color lighting, an illuminated interior backrest, an interior LED control panel with Bluetooth, and built-in performance speakers. The lighting is an ambiance feature, not a medical treatment.

Electrical and Site Preparation
The current manufacturer specification calls for 240V/40A service for the stove and full-spectrum system. A licensed electrician must verify the manual, circuit configuration, switching requirements, disconnect/GFCI rules, and local code before installation.
Before ordering, confirm dimensions, roof clearance, access, placement equipment, load-rated base, drainage, weather exposure, anchoring, setbacks, permits, ventilation, service clearances, and wiring route.
Outdoor Care
Outdoor use still requires protection and maintenance under the manual. The sauna is not weatherproof or maintenance-free. Wood grain and color naturally vary, and screen colors may differ from the actual finish.
Warranty
Coverage is subject to registration, original purchaser/site, maintenance, installation, use, and other terms. Golden Designs currently describes five-year coverage for the properly maintained wood structure, control panel, applicable harnesses, and lights; the stove/heater follows its own manufacturer warranty. Refer customers to the written warranty for component coverage, exclusions, labor, shipping, weather exposure, commercial use, and claims.
