Important: This is a tub-only configuration. A cooling and heating chiller, water-circulation pump, powered temperature control, filtration system, ozone sanitation, and Wi-Fi functionality are not included. These features require separately purchased compatible equipment.

Installation

The Dynamic Cold Therapy DCT-IO-052 is designed for portable setup using its included manual hand pump. Although the tub can be deflated and stored, it must be installed on a stable, level, waterproof surface capable of supporting the weight of the filled tub and its occupant.

Site Preparation: Select a flat surface free of sharp objects, debris, and uneven areas that could damage the inflatable material. Place the included protective mat beneath the tub. Verify that the installation area has suitable structural support, convenient water access, and adequate drainage.

Indoor Installation: Position the tub on waterproof flooring, preferably near a suitable drain. Avoid carpeting, wood flooring that is not protected against moisture, and other water-sensitive surfaces. Provide appropriate ventilation and keep electrical appliances away from the bathing area.

Outdoor Installation: Choose a level, smooth surface with appropriate drainage. The manufacturer recommends protecting the inflatable material from prolonged direct sunlight and storing the tub in a shaded, dry location when not in use. Follow the owner's manual regarding freezing conditions and weather exposure.

Inflating the Tub: Unfold the tub on the protective mat and open the inflation valve. Position the valve button according to the manufacturer's instructions and connect the supplied manual pump. Inflate until the pressure gauge reads between 6 and 8 PSI, then remove the pump and secure the valve cap.

Inflation Safety: The manufacturer identifies approximately 7 PSI as normal working pressure and warns that pressure must never exceed 9 PSI. Use only the included manual pump. Do not use electric compressors or high-pressure pumps, which can damage the inflatable structure or seams.

Optional Chiller Connections: The oval tub includes 1/2-inch inlet and outlet connections for compatible Dynamic Cold Therapy cooling and heating equipment. Verify the necessary hoses, adapters, fittings, and water-flow requirements for the selected chiller before installation. Operation and Usage

The Dynamic Cold Therapy Inflatable Oval Cold Plunge provides a portable basin for cold-water immersion. The tub-only configuration does not independently cool, heat, filter, or circulate water. Water temperature depends on the water used to fill the tub, manually added ice, or a separately purchased compatible cooling and heating system.

• Preparing the Plunge: Fill the tub with clean water to a suitable level for individual immersion while keeping the head above the water. Avoid overfilling, which may cause water to spill when entering.
• Oval Immersion Position: The elongated 52-inch exterior design provides additional length compared with the DCT-IR-040 round model. Choose a stable position that suits your height and mobility.
• Optional Cooling and Heating: When paired with a compatible Dynamic Cold Therapy chiller, follow the chiller's separate operating instructions for temperature adjustments, circulation, and supported water-care features.
• Safe Entry and Exit: Enter feet first and move carefully to avoid slipping or putting excessive weight on the inflatable walls. Maintain steady breathing and never practice underwater breath-holding or hyperventilation.
• Immersion Duration: Start with conservative temperatures and short sessions. Prolonged exposure to cold water can cause hypothermia, and body temperature may continue to decrease after exiting.
