The Dynamic Cold Therapy DCT-IR-040 Inflatable Round Cold Plunge offers a portable alternative to traditional rigid cold plunge tubs. Built with durable, insulated drop-stitch PVC, this 40-inch round ice bath provides a dedicated space for cold-water immersion without requiring a permanent barrel or stainless steel installation.
Measuring 40 inches in diameter and 28 inches high, the DCT-IR-040 features a compact circular design that works well in appropriately prepared indoor wellness spaces and outdoor areas. Its inflatable construction makes it easier to set up, drain, deflate, and store when not in use. The included manual pump, floor mat, carrying backpack, and puncture repair kit provide the essential accessories for portable use.
For additional convenience, the tub comes equipped with 1/2-inch inlet and outlet connections for a compatible Dynamic Cold Therapy cooling and heating system. Pair it with an optional chiller for electronic water temperature control, circulation, and filtration, or use the tub independently with manually prepared cold water.
Please Note: This product includes the inflatable cold plunge tub only. A cooling and heating chiller is not included and must be purchased separately.

Important: This listing includes the inflatable tub and accessories only. A cooling and heating chiller, circulation pump, water filtration, ozone sanitation, and powered temperature controls are not included. These features require separately purchased compatible equipment.
The Dynamic Cold Therapy DCT-IR-040 is designed for convenient setup using the included manual hand pump. Although the inflatable design provides portability, the tub must still be installed on a suitable surface capable of supporting the filled plunge and its occupant.
Site Preparation: Select a flat, stable, waterproof surface free of sharp stones, branches, debris, or other objects that could puncture the material. Position the included protective mat beneath the tub. Verify that the location has adequate structural support, water access, and drainage.
Indoor Installation: Place the tub on waterproof flooring, preferably near a suitable floor drain. Avoid carpeting and moisture-sensitive surfaces. Provide adequate ventilation and keep electrical appliances away from the water.
Outdoor Installation: Choose a smooth, level surface and protect the tub from prolonged direct sunlight. The manufacturer recommends covered or shaded storage when not in use. Follow the owner's manual for protection against freezing temperatures and adverse weather.
Inflating the Tub: Unfold the tub on its protective mat and locate the air valve. Open the valve cap, position the valve button for inflation, and connect the supplied hand pump. Inflate until the pressure gauge reads between 6 and 8 PSI, then disconnect the pump and secure the valve cap. The manufacturer identifies approximately 7 PSI as normal working pressure and warns never to exceed 9 PSI.
Inflation Safety: Use only the supplied manual hand pump. The manufacturer specifically warns against using electric or high-pressure air pumps, which can overinflate the tub and damage its seams or inflatable structure.
Optional Chiller Connections: The DCT-IR-040 has 1/2-inch inlet and outlet connections for compatible Dynamic Cold Therapy cooling and heating equipment. Confirm the correct hoses, adapters, fittings, and circulation requirements before installing a chiller. The electrical requirements of a chiller are specified separately in its own installation manual.
Initial Filling: Inspect the tub and air valve for damage before filling. Add clean water gradually, leaving sufficient room for water displacement when entering. The manufacturer recommends starting with a lower fill level and adding more water as needed rather than overfilling the tub.
Cover Setup: Position the supplied cover over the tub when it is not being used. Secure its locking buckles and follow the manufacturer's instructions for setting the combination locks.
The DCT-IR-040 provides a portable basin for cold-water immersion. The standalone inflatable tub does not independently chill, heat, filter, or circulate water. Water temperature depends on the water added to the tub, the use of ice, or the operation of a separately purchased compatible cooling and heating system.
Important: Cold-water immersion can place significant stress on the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Avoid plunging alone, enter feet first, and exit immediately if you experience dizziness, chest discomfort, breathing difficulty, weakness, or loss of coordination. Consult a healthcare professional before cold-water immersion if you have cardiovascular concerns or other relevant medical conditions.
