K12.5G Club Series 12.5kW Stainless Sauna Heater at 208V 3PH

Designed for large private and commercial saunas, the Harvia K12.5G delivers powerful, consistent heat in rooms up to 742 cubic feet. Operating on a 208 V 3‑phase circuit, this heavy‑duty floor‑standing heater produces approximately 12.3 kW (marketed as 12.5 kW) of output. The Harvia Club manual explains that KG‑series heaters are specifically designed to heat large saunas to comfortable bathing temperatures and must not be used for other purposes.

Key Features

• Commercial‑grade floor model: Made of durable stainless steel with long‑life heating elements, the K12.5G withstands continuous use in busy health clubs, spas and large residential saunas.

• High‑power heating: 12.3 kW output (rounded to 12.5 kW) for sauna rooms from 494 to 742 cu ft; operates on a 208 V 3‑phase supply with a 34.1 A current draw and a 40 A line fuse.

• External control required: According to Harvia’s manual, KG heaters must be paired with a separate control unit installed outside the sauna. Compatible controls include Harvia Xenio or Griffin models (e.g., CX45‑U1/U3‑XW) to manage temperature, timer and lighting.

• Generous stone capacity: Holds 132 lbs of sauna stones (three 44‑lb boxes) to produce abundant, even steam. Use 2–4 ″ (4–8 cm) solid stones and arrange them loosely for proper airflow.
