Installation

The Maxxus MX-LS2-01 is designed for indoor installation only. Its clasp-together panel construction helps simplify assembly without requiring extensive structural modifications. Assembly is best performed by two adults following the manufacturer's instructions.

Electrical Requirements: The sauna operates at 120 volts with a rated power consumption of 1,600 watts. The supplier specifies a dedicated 15-amp circuit, breaker, and outlet. The manufacturer describes the connection as plug-and-play and specifies a non-GFCI receptacle. A qualified electrician should confirm the circuit, receptacle configuration, and applicable local electrical-code requirements before installation.

Placement and Preparation: Position the sauna on a flat, stable indoor surface. Its exterior dimensions are 48 inches wide, 40 inches deep, and 75 inches high. Allow additional space for assembly, entry and exit, ventilation, and the clearances specified in the manufacturer's installation instructions.

Keep the sauna protected from outdoor conditions and excessive moisture. Confirm the intended location has suitable electrical access and sufficient room to safely assemble and operate the unit.

Operation and Usage

The MX-LS2-01 uses digital LED controls to adjust cabin temperature and session duration. Its combination of FAR infrared carbon heating panels and a bio-ceramic heater delivers radiant warmth without requiring the high air temperatures associated with traditional steam saunas.

• Power and Temperature: Switch on the sauna and select your preferred temperature using the LED controls. The manufacturer lists an ideal temperature range of 118°F–132°F and a maximum temperature of up to 140°F.
• Preheating: Allow the heating system to warm the cabin before entering. Warm-up time will vary depending on the surrounding room temperature and selected setting.
• Session Duration: Set the timer for your desired session length. Begin with shorter sessions and moderate temperatures if you are new to infrared saunas, gradually adjusting based on comfort and the manufacturer's recommendations.
• Lighting and Audio: Use the chromotherapy lighting and red-light feature to adjust the cabin's atmosphere. Pair a compatible device through Bluetooth or connect through the MP3 auxiliary input to enjoy audio through the built-in speakers.
• After Each Session: Turn off the sauna, allow the heating elements and interior surfaces to cool, and wipe down the seating and other interior wood surfaces with a soft cloth. Keep the cabin clean and follow the manufacturer's maintenance instructions.

Important: Stay hydrated, avoid prolonged or excessive heat exposure, and discontinue use if you experience dizziness, nausea, or discomfort. This sauna uses dry infrared heating and is not designed for steam generation. Never pour water onto its electrical heating elements.
