Installation

• Placement: Indoors on a flat, dry, level surface (hard floor preferred). Allow ~2" clearance around the exterior for assembly and ventilation.

 

• Assembly: Panels lock together—no special tools. Two adults recommended; typical assembly 45–90 minutes.

 

• Electrical: Standard 120 V / 15 A non-GFCI outlet. Use a dedicated circuit when possible. Do not use extension cords or power strips.

 

• Environment: Room temperature 60–80 °F for best warm-up times. Avoid wet rooms, outdoor exposure, or direct HVAC vents.

 

• Break-in: First use, run empty for 30 minutes at high temp with door slightly open to off-gas packing aromas.

FAQs

How long does it take to heat up?

About 15–30 minutes to reach the 120–130 °F sweet spot, depending on room temperature and ventilation.

 

What are the actual EMF levels

Panels are designed for low EMF (approx. 5–10 mG measured 2–3" from panel), per the manufacturer’s data.

 

Can I use a GFCI outlet?

No. The manufacturer specifies non-GFCI for infrared saunas. Use a standard 120 V / 15 A outlet on a dedicated circuit.

 

Do I need professional installation?

Most customers DIY with two people. Hire a handyman or electrician if you prefer white-glove assembly or need a dedicated outlet installed.

 

Can I place it on carpet?

Low-pile carpet is acceptable, but hard flooring (tile, vinyl, hardwood) is best for stability and airflow.

 

Is ventilation required?

Normal room ventilation is sufficient. Leave a couple of inches of clearance around the unit; keep supply/return HVAC vents from blowing directly on the sauna.

 

What’s the delivery method?

Curbside freight. The carrier brings the pallet to your driveway. Move boxes indoors individually before assembly.
